11 Oct La Brava Continues Its Expansion with a New Round of Fundraising

After just ten months in business, the Catalan brewery La Brava is preparing a new round of fundraising, which will be open to the public as of 15th October on the alternative funding platform Crowdcube.

The new investment opportunity is being offered to meet the growing demand for La Brava. The level of sales and expansion of the brand have exceeded initial forecasts and, as a consequence, funding is required so the company can bring this quality lager to the four corners of Catalonia and achieve other future goals.

La Brava is a new player on the Spanish beer scene, positioning itself as a premium alternative in the high consumption beer sector. With two months still to go before it completes its first financial year, La Brava has already reached the magic number of 700,000 beers sold. Based on the current growth in sales, this figure is set to triple in 2017.

La Brava is now available at more than 500 points of sale in the catering sector (bars, restaurants and hotels) and in hundreds of establishments belonging to the Bonpreu Esclat chain and the Miquel Alimentació group, as well as in Vinalium shops. Moreover, the company is presently in negotiations with two major international groups with the aim of reaching an agreement to stock La Brava in hypermarkets and supermarkets as well as local and specialist shops.

Following the success of the first crowdfunding round, the company is once again using Crowdcube, the leading investment platform for startups on the Internet. La Brava has created a microsite to provide information about the company and this investment opportunity in a highly attractive sector.
